My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 stars – I’ve got mixed feelings for this. The story line intrigued me, both characters grabbed me from the moment I met them. Yes, I get that Zach has unconventional fantasies and desires but that’s not why the three stars instead of four. My issues with this were: why the sudden turn around by Craig? He went from a firm ‘no freaking way ‘ freak out to ‘I’m totally on board with this’ in what felt like the blink of an eye. One page I’m reading about how he doesn’t share and just a few pages later that’s exactly what he’s doing. That and lack of communication between these two. And how often Craig hurt Zach with his silence and running and then Zach forgave him so easily. It was just too much push and pull for me to fully engage in the story. But it definitely showed promise for a debut and I’ll look for more from this author.
