Love Unchained’s review of Fast Connection by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

Fast Connection (Cyberlove #2)Fast Connection by Megan Erickson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I adored Garrett and Kai’s story in the first book even though it surprised the hell out of me. But this one? Blew me the hell away. Both characters seemed so shallow on the surface. Dominic’s trying to figure out who is both in the world and also in the gay world. Luke is just looking for his next hookup. But when they meet neither one expects to feel anything for the other. I felt like a cheerleader on the sidelines with this book – rooting for the two of them to find their way, cheering when good things happened, crying when they didn’t, and smiling again when they began to see their way through again. This book was not all happy smiles and roses – it was real and gritty with tears and heartbreak and real issues to try to work through and then we get to the smiles and happy because that’s what real relationships are like and this was so worth it.

Love Unchained’s review of Smoke & Mirrors by Charlie Cochet

Smoke & Mirrors (THIRDS, #7)Smoke & Mirrors by Charlie Cochet

Rainbows. Yep. A rainbow of emotions. All of them. Happiness, sadness, anger, tears, joy, fear, hope, confusion, surprise, more happiness, love, so much frickin’ love – you feel absolutely everything when you’re reading this book but never in a way that it feels like too much crammed into too small of a space. No, instead, this author somehow makes her words, like in the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, feel just right.

Love Unchained’s review of Falling by Sierra Riley

FallingFalling by Sierra Riley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review and I’ve got to say this is one of my favorite Sierra Riley books to date. I fell in love with both Jeremy (totally adorbs) and Nick, felt every emotion they felt, I laughed with them, I cried with them, I cheered for them, I wanted to hug them, I wanted to jump for joy when things went right, I just felt everything about them in my heart and it was wonderful. I totally recommend this book.

Love Unchained’s review of The Butcher, The Baker, The Custom Bike Maker: The Butcher by Matthew Ortiz

The Butcher, The Baker, The Custom Bike Maker: The Butcher (The Myer Triplets, #1)The Butcher, The Baker, The Custom Bike Maker: The Butcher by Mathew Ortiz

What a beautiful, fun breath of fresh air (and farts. Yes, farts. Read it…and laugh). This was my first book by this author and I loved it! It was real, raw, real, funny, real, smokin’ hot and did I mention real? I think that was what I enjoyed the most. These were real men with real problems and quirks and real siblings who teased and fought like real people. And their kids were real too with real fears and real snark and sarcasm. An unforgettable tale that left me yearning for more.

Love Unchained’s review of A Summer of Guiltless Sex by Dan Skinner

A Summer of Guiltless SexA Summer of Guiltless Sex by Dan Skinner

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It’s rare to find a writer whose words feel like they are reaching inside you and pulling every emotion out of you. It’s even rarer that the same writer can do it over and over and over. But Dan Skinner does that – with each of his books.
I laughed , I cried, I smiled, I yearned and more than anything I felt that my life had been made richer for having shared these two beautiful souls’ adventure.

Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you’ll lose yourself in the pages of a book and live a lifetime through the words of the author. And if that writer has the heart of a poet and the amazing gift of getting memories to flow from his pen like the paint on a brush in Van Gogh’s hand then you get an experience like this book. Because you don’t just read it, you experience it – every laugh, every smile, every sigh, every heartbreak, every tear, and every moment of undying love and hope. This is a story that won’t just touch your heart…it will make it better.
